This is second volume in the series "The Story Behind the Hymn." This volume has a bit of a twist however. It considers the background as well as a theological reflection of Charles Wesley's hymn "Love Divine All Loves Excelling." It demonstrates the trinitarian formula employed by Wesley in the poem. Also it endeavors to show how the Wesley brothers employed music as a way to catechize the people know as "Methodists."
